The sacramental preparation course for First Communion and Confirmation consists of :

​

• Student sessions: There are 10 classes for your child from January to May inclusively held at the rectory upstairs at Françoise Cabrini church in Rosemère. Your child will be expected to attend all classes, prepared to listen, learn and participate.This will require assistance from home, homework to be completed, prayers to be learned, etc…Your child will receive a workbook and will be expected to have a Bible at his disposal.

 

• Parent sessions: One parent will be expected to attend the welcoming meeting at Françoise Cabrini church  and the 3 parent meetings which will take place at Françoise Cabrini church on a Saturday morning.  (see the attached schedule for the date)

 

• Church attendance: Children enrolled in this program will also be expected to attend Mass with their family for a minimum of 10 masses . 

 

• Attendance is mandatory under normal circumstances.

 

• Reconciliation (first confession) (see schedule below)
